## Biography

Dayo Okeniyi is a Nigerian-American actor. Born Oladayo A. Okeniyi on 14 June 1988 in Lagos, Nigeria, he moved with his family to the United States in 2003 and earned a bachelor's degree in visual communications from Anderson University in Indiana in 2009.

He began performing in local theatre and short films before his breakthrough as Thresh in *The Hunger Games* (2012). Okeniyi portrayed Danny Dyson in *Terminator Genisys* (2015) and has appeared in films including *The Spectacular Now* (2013), *Endless Love* (2014) and *Fresh* (2022), as well as the series *Shades of Blue* (2016–2018) and *Dark Matter* (2024).
