## Biography

Daysha Broadway is a film and television editor. A Los Angeles native, she holds a master's degree in film editing from the Dodge College of Film and Media Arts at Chapman University.

Her credits include the HBO series *Insecure* (2016), on which she edited episodes, and the documentary *The AI Doc: Or How I Became an Apocaloptimist* (2026). She edited *Whitney Houston: I Wanna Dance with Somebody* (2022) and served as co-producer, and worked on *A Black Lady Sketch Show* (2019–2021) and *Your Monster* (2024).

Broadway is a member of the American Cinema Editors. In 2021 she was part of the first all-women of colour team to win a Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Picture Editing in a Variety Series, for *A Black Lady Sketch Show*. She received a Peabody Award for her work on *Surviving R. Kelly*.
