## Biography

Dean Armstrong is a Canadian actor. Born in Owen Sound, Ontario, he graduated from Queen's University in Kingston with degrees in theatre arts and education. He began his career with stage work, including a run in the Broadway production of *Rent*, before appearing as the recurring character Blake Wyzecki in the television series *Queer as Folk* (2000–2005).

Armstrong has performed in numerous film and television roles, including *Saw 3D* (2010), *Wrong Turn 4: Bloody Beginnings* (2011), *Repo! The Genetic Opera* (2008) and *The Old Way* (2023). He is also an acting coach and founder of Armstrong Acting Studios.
