Deborah Pratt, also credited as Deborah M. Pratt, is an American director, writer, producer and actress. She was born on 16 December 1951 in Chicago, Illinois, and studied at Webster University.

She began her career in acting on stage and in television series including *CHiPs* (1977) and *Airwolf* (1984), where she also wrote episodes. Pratt co-created, served as executive producer and head writer on *Quantum Leap* (1989–1993), penning numerous episodes and voicing the character Ziggy. She later wrote for *Magnum, P.I.* and created the series *The Net* (1998).

Pratt made her directorial debut with the television film *Cora Unashamed* (2000) and has directed episodes of *Grey's Anatomy* (2020) and the *Quantum Leap* revival (2023). She has been an executive producer on the 2022 *Quantum Leap* series and is the former spouse of producer Donald P. Bellisario.
