## Biography

Debra Fordham is an American television writer and producer. She is a graduate of Valdosta State University in Valdosta, Georgia, where she studied theatre.

Fordham wrote sixteen episodes of the sitcom *Scrubs* (2001) and served as a producer on the series, receiving three Primetime Emmy nominations. Her other credits include writing and producing roles on *Army Wives*, *Hart of Dixie* (2011), *Nashville* (2012) — where she was co-executive producer and wrote nine episodes — *Impulse* (2018), *Virgin River* (2019) and *The Republic of Sarah* (2021). She is also the author of the play *Holler Me Home*.
