Debra Jo Rupp is an American actress. She was born on 24 February 1951 in Glendale, California, and raised in Boxford, Massachusetts. She graduated from the University of Rochester in 1974 and moved to New York City in 1979 to pursue acting, initially working in stage productions and commercials.

Rupp is best known for playing Kitty Forman in the television series *That '70s Show* (1998–2006) and its sequel *That '90s Show* (2023–2024). Her other television roles include Alice Knight in *Friends* (1997–1998), Sharon Davis in *WandaVision* (2021), and guest appearances in *Seinfeld*, *Grey's Anatomy* and *This Is Us*. In film she appeared as Miss Patterson in *Big* (1988) and in *Death Becomes Her* (1992) and *She's Out of My League* (2010).

On stage she has performed in productions including a 1990 Broadway revival of *Cat on a Hot Tin Roof* and solo shows about Dr Ruth Westheimer, for which she received Drama Desk Award and Drama League Award nominations.
