Debs Paterson is a British director and screenwriter working in film and television. She is also credited as Debs Gardner-Paterson on earlier projects.

She directed episodes of the series *Halo* (2022), *Willow* (2022), *A Discovery of Witches* (2018), *Domina* (2021) and *The Bastard Son & The Devil Himself* (2022). Her feature debut *Africa United* (2010) premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival and received a British Independent Film Award nomination for Best Debut Director; she was named a BAFTA 'Brit to Watch'. Paterson also directed the documentary *The Skywalker Legacy* (2020) and episodes of *Strike Back* (2010).

She has directed further episodes of series including *For Life* (2020), *Harlots* (2019) and upcoming projects such as *Neuromancer* and *Spartacus: House of Ashur*.
