## Biography

Dee Johnson is an American television writer and producer. She began her career writing for the Fox series *Melrose Place* in the mid-1990s and went on to write 19 episodes of *ER*, for which she received a Humanitas Prize nomination in 2005.

Johnson has served as a writer and producer on series including *Southland*, *The Good Wife*, *Boss*, *Rizzoli & Isles* and *Nashville*, where she was executive producer and showrunner for the first four seasons. She was an executive producer on the 2023 miniseries *Fellow Travelers*, which won a Peabody Award. Her production company is Small Wishes Productions. She is showrunner and executive producer on the 2026 Netflix limited series *His & Hers*, for which she also wrote one episode.
