## Biography

Deirdree Wallace is an Australian actress. She trained at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts in New York City on a scholarship, completing a three-year programme and earning a BA in Theatre. While in New York she was mentored by Ruth Gordon and appeared in a production of *Hair* directed by Miloš Forman, filmed in Central Park.

Her theatre work includes a performance in *The Cherry Orchard* that earned a Chekhov Off-Off-Broadway Award. On screen she has appeared in the Australian series *Home and Away* (1989) as a nurse and *Six Pack* (1992) as Vivian, as well as several short films. She is credited as AA Leader in the 2026 film *Runner*.
