## Biography

Deniese Davis is a producer whose credits include the HBO series *Insecure* (2016–2021), on which she worked in roles from producer to co-executive producer. She trained at the American Film Institute Conservatory, graduating in 2012 from its Producing programme, and earlier attended CUNY Brooklyn College.

Davis began her career producing music videos, short films and digital content. She met Issa Rae while at AFI and produced the second season of Rae’s web series *The Mis-Adventures of Awkward Black Girl*; the two later co-founded the management and production company ColorCreative. Davis has also produced *A Black Lady Sketch Show* (2019–2022) and *One of Them Days* (2025). In 2021 she founded Reform Media Group. She has received four Primetime Emmy nominations.
