Denis Bachter is a German film and television editor. He trained as a film and video editor at ARRI Film & TV Services GmbH and is based in Munich, where he is a member of the Bundesverband für Filmschnitt Editor (BFS).

Bachter has edited episodes of the Netflix series *Dark* (2017) and *1899* (2022). His feature film credits include *Friend Request* (2016), *Welcome to Hartmanns* (2016), *100 Things* (2018), *The Goldfish* (2019), *Nightlife* (2020) and *Old White Man* (2024). He received a nomination for the BloodGuts UK Horror Award for Best Editing on *Friend Request*.
