## Biography

Denise Paul is a British television producer and writer. She began her career as a script editor on the crime series *Taggart* (2005–2010) and *Rebus* (2006–2007).

She worked on *Doctor Who* (2005) as associate producer, script producer and producer across series 6 and 7 (2011–2013), including several specials. She later served as development producer on *Luther* (2019) and has been executive producer and writer on *Shetland* (2013–), contributing to multiple series and episodes from 2018 onwards.
