## Biography

Dennis Boutsikaris is an American actor. He was born on 21 December 1952 in Newark, New Jersey, and grew up in Berkeley Heights, New Jersey. He graduated from Hampshire College and toured with John Houseman's The Acting Company performing classical theatre.

Boutsikaris has appeared on and off Broadway, becoming the first American to play Mozart in *Amadeus*. He has won two Obie Awards for stage performances. His film credits include *The Bourne Legacy* (2012) as Ward, *Money Monster* (2016), *W.* (2008) and earlier roles in *batteries not included* (1987), *The Dream Team* (1989) and *Boys on the Side* (1995).

On television he has had recurring roles in *Shameless* (2011) as Professor Hearst and *Better Call Saul* (2015) as Rich Schweikart, among appearances in *Law & Order*, *ER* and other series. He has also narrated numerous audiobooks.
