## Biography

Dennis Clinton (1925–2005) was an English actor. He was born in Budleigh Salterton, Devon, and appeared in television and stage productions from the 1950s onwards.

His credits include the role of Porter in the 1992 BBC television production of *A Doll's House*, Kit Greensheve and Sir William Catesby in the 1951 series *The Black Arrow*, and Lieutenant Brennan in *The Evil Touch* (1974). He also performed with the Royal Shakespeare Company in the early 1980s and had guest roles in series such as *The Bill* and *ChuckleVision*. He was a cousin of actresses Hermione Baddeley and Angela Baddeley.
