Dennis Klein is a television writer, producer and creator. He contributed a script to the sitcom *All in the Family* in 1973.

Klein created the series *The Larry Sanders Show* (1992–1998) and *Cosby* (1996–2000). His other writing credits include *Buffalo Bill* (1983–1984), *Bakersfield P.D.* (1993–1994) and *Mary Hartman, Mary Hartman* (as head writer, 1976–1977). He has also directed episodes of *Laverne & Shirley* and other series.

Klein has received three Primetime Emmy nominations.
