Derek Elphinstone (1913–1999) was a British actor. He was born in Guildford, Surrey, on 15 October 1913, the son of actor Montague Elphinstone, and came from a theatrical family.

His film roles include Lieutenant Parker in *The Four Feathers* (1939), No. 1 in *In Which We Serve* (1942), Lord Oldham in *The Red Shoes* (1948), and Richard Anthony in *Distant Trumpet* (1952). He also appeared in television adaptations and worked as a writer and producer on a small number of films.
