Derek Nathanial Luke is an American actor born on 24 April 1974 in Jersey City, New Jersey. His feature film debut came in the title role of *Antwone Fisher* (2002), directed by Denzel Washington, for which he received the Independent Spirit Award for Best Male Lead.

Luke is known for roles including Bobby Joe Hill in *Glory Road* (2006), Gabe Jones in *Captain America: The First Avenger* (2011), and Kevin Porter in the series *13 Reasons Why* (2017–2020).
