## Biography

Diana Lewis (1919–1997) was an American actress. She made her film debut as Miss Dunk in *It's a Gift* (1934) and appeared in supporting roles in several MGM films, including *Go West* (1940) and *Johnny Eager* (1941). She was also known as Mousie Powell following her marriage to actor William Powell.

The daughter of vaudeville performers, Lewis was born in Asbury Park, New Jersey, and attended Fairfax High School in Los Angeles. She had an earlier marriage to actor Jay Raye, which ended in divorce in 1939. Lewis retired from acting in 1943. She was active in charity work and women's golf, and was buried alongside Powell at Desert Memorial Park in Cathedral City, California.
