## Biography

Diane Adler was an American film and television editor. A Los Angeles native, she began her career in the 1950s as a secretary before moving into editing, initially assisting on features such as *El Dorado* (1967). She edited episodes of the series *Kojak* (1973) and spent five seasons on *The Rockford Files* (1974).

Her other credits include the feature film *The Presidio* (1988) and numerous television series and telefilms such as *Spenser: For Hire*, *Riptide*, *The Girl Most Likely To...* (1973) and *Huckleberry Finn* (1975). Adler was active in the American Cinema Editors and the Motion Picture Editors Guild, serving on the latter’s board and receiving its Career Achievement Award from the former in 2015. She died in Los Angeles in 2021.
