Diane Clare (born Diane Olga Claire Georgine Dirsztay) was an English actress. She trained at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art and began her screen career as a child, later appearing in credited roles from 1958.

She is known for her performances in *Ice Cold in Alex* (1958) as Sister Denise Norton, *The Reluctant Debutante* (1958) as Clarissa Claremont, *Whistle Down the Wind* (1961) as Miss Lodge, *The L-Shaped Room* (1962) as a nurse, *The Haunting* (1963) as Carrie Fredericks, *The Plague of the Zombies* (1966) as Sylvia Forbes and *The Wrong Box* (1966) as Mercy. Clare also appeared in television, including the series *Persuasion* (1960–1961).

She retired from acting in 1968 after marrying novelist and playwright Barry England in 1967. The couple had two children. Clare died on 21 June 2013.
