Dicken Ashworth is an English actor. He was born on 18 July 1946 in Todmorden, West Yorkshire. He began his career as an English and drama teacher before joining repertory companies and moving into television and film.

His film credits include *Force 10 from Navarone* (1978), *Tess* (1979), *Krull* (1983) and *Wallace & Gromit: The Curse of the Were-Rabbit* (2005), in which he voiced Mr. Mulch. On television he has appeared in *Doctor Who* (1985), *Coronation Street* (1992–2000) as Geoff Horton, *Keeping Up Appearances* (1990), *Inspector Morse* (1987) and *Emmerdale* (2007–2008).
