## Biography

Didier Brunner is a French film producer born on 6 March 1948 in Neuilly-sur-Seine. He founded the animation production company Les Armateurs in 1994 after earlier work as an assistant director and director on educational documentaries, and co-founded Folivari in 2014 with his children.

Brunner has produced numerous animated features, including *Kirikou and the Sorceress* (1998), *The Triplets of Belleville* (2003), *The Secret of Kells* (2009), *Ernest & Celestine* (2012), *Wolfwalkers* (2020) and *The Summit of the Gods* (2021). Several of these received Oscar nominations, and he has won César Awards for best animated film.

He is a Chevalier des Arts et des Lettres.
