## Biography

Diego Dussuel is a cinematographer. He graduated in audiovisual communication from the Instituto Profesional de Arte y Comunicación ARCOS in Santiago de Chile in 1995, later working as an assistant professor there. He completed a masters in cinematography at the International Film and TV School in San Antonio de los Baños, Cuba, in 1994, and a masters in creative documentary at the Universitat Pompeu Fabra in Barcelona in 2002. He has taught at film schools including ESCAC and the Universitat Pompeu Fabra.

Since 1994 he has worked as director of photography on feature films, television series and other projects. His credits include *The Legend of Time* (2006), *7 Days in Havana* (2012), *The Propaganda Game* (2015), *The Next Skin* (2016), *The Quietude* (2018), *Return to Ithaca* (2014) and *Between Two Waters* (2018). He has collaborated with directors including Isaki Lacuesta, Pablo Trapero, Laurent Cantet and Neus Ballús.

Dussuel received the Gaudí Award for best cinematography for *Between Two Waters* and two Golden Shells at the San Sebastián Film Festival for *Between Two Waters* and *Los Pasos Dobles*. Recent credits include the series *Citadel: Diana* (2024) and *I, Addict* (2024), and the film *& Sons* (2025).
