## Biography

Diego Tenorio is a Mexican cinematographer. Born in Mexico City in 1985, he graduated from the Escuela Nacional de Artes Cinematográficas (CENAT) at the UNAM, where he worked on shorts and the documentary *Los reyes del pueblo que no existe* (2015).

He collaborated with director Carlos Lenin on the feature *La paloma y el lobo* (2019), their first project supported through the Ópera Prima programme; the film received an Ariel nomination for best cinematography. Tenorio’s credits include *Tótem* (2023), for which he won the Lima Film Festival prize for fiction photography and received an Ariel nomination, as well as *The Virgin of the Quarry Lake* (2025) and various television series.
