## Biography

Dimitri Capuani is an Italian production designer. He holds a Bachelor of Arts from the Academy of Fine Arts in Rome (1993) and a Master's degree in set design from the Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia.

After graduating, he worked as a draughtsman with Franco Zeffirelli on opera productions and later collaborated extensively with Dante Ferretti on films including *Titus* (1999). He has contributed art direction to *Gangs of New York* (2002) and *Hugo* (2011).

Capuani has worked frequently with director Matteo Garrone, serving as production designer on *Tale of Tales* (2015), *Dogman* (2018), *Pinocchio* (2019) and *Io Capitano* (2023). He also designed *Dry* (2022) and the upcoming *A Talent for Murder* (2026). His work has earned multiple David di Donatello and Nastro d'Argento awards for best production design.
