## Biography

Dinah Collin is a British costume designer. She studied illustration at Cambridge School of Art in the late 1950s, then worked in theatre as a set painter and in wardrobe departments before joining the BBC as a costume designer in the late 1960s.

She is best known for designing the costumes for the 1995 BBC adaptation of *Pride and Prejudice*, which earned her a Primetime Emmy Award. Other notable film credits include *The Bourne Supremacy* (2004), *United 93* (2006), *The Ghost Writer* (2010), *My Cousin Rachel* (2017) and *The Duke* (2020). She has frequently collaborated with director Paul Greengrass.

Collin received a BAFTA TV Award for her work on *Portrait of a Marriage* (1990) and a BAFTA Cymru Award for *Gwen* (2018). She has also received nominations including a BIFA for *My Cousin Rachel*.
