## Biography

Dino Stamatopoulos is an American writer, producer and actor. Born on 14 December 1964 in Norridge, Illinois, he began his career as a writer on sketch series including *The Ben Stiller Show* (for which he won a Primetime Emmy), *Mr. Show with Bob and David*, *MADtv* and *Late Night with Conan O'Brien*.

He created the stop-motion series *Moral Orel* (2005) and *Mary Shelley's Frankenhole* (2010) for Adult Swim. Stamatopoulos served as writer and consulting producer on the NBC series *Community* (2009), for which he also wrote two animated episodes and played the recurring role of Alex "Star-Burns" Osbourne.

He co-founded the animation studio Starburns Industries, which produced the film *Anomalisa* (2015).
