## Biography

Dipo Ola is a British-Nigerian actor. Born in Ibadan, Nigeria, he moved with his family to the United Kingdom as a child and trained at the Oxford School of Drama on its three-year acting course.

He made his screen debut in the Channel 4 series *Baghdad Central* (2020). Subsequent television credits include *Inside No. 9* (2020) as Calvin, *We Hunt Together* (2020–2022) as Baba Lenga, *McDonald & Dodds* (2020) as Cal Baker, *Landscapers* (2021) as Douglas Hylton, and *Ludwig* (2024–) as DI Russell Carter. He also provided the voice of Laertes in the film *Grand Theft Hamlet* (2024).

Ola has directed, written and produced short films, including *A Long Way from Cairo* (2024). He received a nomination for Breakthrough Talent at the Edinburgh TV Awards in 2022.
