## Biography

Dominic Fumusa is an American stage and screen actor. He was born on 13 September 1969 in Dane County, Wisconsin, and graduated from Lawrence University before earning an MFA in acting from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.

Fumusa began his career in Chicago theatre and made his Broadway debut in the 1998 revival of *Wait Until Dark*. He originated roles in the Tony Award-winning *Take Me Out* and other New York productions. On screen he is known for the role of Kevin Peyton in the Showtime series *Nurse Jackie* (2009–2015) and for appearances in *The Sopranos*, *Law & Order: Special Victims Unit*, *Homeland* and *13 Hours: The Secret Soldiers of Benghazi* (2016).

In 2025 he played Detective Melvin Oliva in *Dexter: Resurrection*. He is married to actress Ilana Levine.
