## Biography

Dominique Collignon-Maurin (also credited as Dominique Maurin or Dominique Collignon) was a French actor. Born in Toulouse on 1 April 1949, he was the son of actress Mado Maurin and composer Georges Collignon, and a member of the acting family known as the 'Petits Maurin'. He began his career as a child, appearing in films such as *Rififi* (1955) and *The American Beauty* (1961).

He had roles in *Sundays and Cybele* (1962), *This Special Friendship* (1964) and later films including *Gandahar* (1987). Collignon-Maurin was also a prolific voice actor, providing the French voice of Luke Skywalker in the original *Star Wars* trilogy and dubbing numerous Hollywood actors. He voiced a character in the animated film *Ernest & Celestine* (2012). He died on 4 August 2025.
