## Biography

Ma Dong-seok, also known as Don Lee, is a South Korean-American actor and film producer. Born Lee Dong-seok on 1 March 1971 in Seoul, South Korea, he moved to the United States with his family as a teenager and became a US citizen. Before acting, he worked as a personal trainer and trained mixed martial artists including Mark Coleman and Kevin Randleman. He made his film debut in 2004.

He gained recognition for supporting roles in films such as *Nameless Gangster: Rules of the Time* (2012) and *The Neighbor* (2012). His performance as Sang-hwa in the zombie thriller *Train to Busan* (2016) brought him international prominence. Subsequent leading roles include *The Outlaws* (2017) and its sequels in the Roundup series, *The Gangster, the Cop, the Devil* (2019) and *Ashfall* (2019).

In 2021 he made his Hollywood debut as Gilgamesh in *Eternals*. He has also produced several of his films and is known for action roles.
