## Biography

Don Macaulay is a Canadian production designer and art director. He trained in architecture in Nova Scotia before entering film as a set designer and advancing to art direction and production design roles on feature films and television.

He has worked as supervising art director on numerous large-scale productions including *Elysium* (2013), *Tomorrowland* (2015), *Star Trek Beyond* (2016) and *Sonic the Hedgehog 2* (2022). As production designer he has contributed to series such as *The Last of Us* (2023–), *Family Law* (2021) and *Motive* (2013).

Macaulay has received multiple Emmy nominations for production design, including for *The Last of Us*, as well as Art Directors Guild nominations and a Leo Award for *Here's to Life!* (2000). He is based in Vancouver.
