## Biography

Don Segall was an American television writer and producer. He began his career as a page at NBC in New York and later sold radio advertising time before writing for comic books.

Segall wrote episodes of numerous series, including *M*A*S*H* (1978), *The Love Boat* (1979), *The Jeffersons* (1977), *Good Times* (1978), *Chico and the Man* (1978), *Diff'rent Strokes* (1982), *Benson* (1985), *The Four Seasons* (1984) and *Who's the Boss?* (1989). He also contributed teleplays to *Fantastic Four* (1994) and several television films. He received an Emmy nomination for his work on the programme *A.M. New York*.

Segall died in Los Angeles on 16 July 1994.
