Donald E. Thorin Jr. is an American cinematographer and television director. He has worked in the camera department on feature films including *Demolition Man* (1993) and *In the Line of Fire* (1993), and as a camera operator on series such as *The West Wing*.

He served as director of photography on *Alias* (2003–2006) and directed one episode of the series in 2005. Thorin has also directed episodes of *Cold Case*, *Blue Bloods* and *The Blacklist*, and worked as DP on *Blue Bloods* and other series. He received a Primetime Emmy nomination. He is the son of cinematographer Donald E. Thorin.
