## Biography

Donald Gallaher (also credited as Don Gallagher) was an American actor and director. Born in Quincy, Illinois, he began his career as a child performer on the New York stage after moving there with his mother and appeared uncredited as the Little Boy in the 1903 film *The Great Train Robbery*.

He acted in stage productions and films through the 1910s and 1920s, including *Eye for Eye* (1918), and later took uncredited screen roles in *Keeper of the Flame* (1943) and *Road to Utopia* (1946). Gallaher directed five films, among them *Temple Tower* (1930), and produced several Broadway plays. In 1949, credited as Don Gallagher, he narrated the short-lived anthology series *ABC Television Players*.
