Halliday worked primarily at Walt Disney Productions. His editing credits include the live-action sequences of *The Three Caballeros* (1944, as Don Halliday), *Melody Time* (1948), *Cinderella* (1950), *Peter Pan* (1953), *Lady and the Tramp* (1955, as Don Halliday), *Sleeping Beauty* (1959), *One Hundred and One Dalmatians* (1961) and *The Sword in the Stone* (1963). He also edited episodes of the television series *The Magical World of Disney*.
