## Biography

Dorian Vernacchio is an American production designer and art director. He trained at Temple University, where he received a B.A. in theatre in 1978, and at New York University, where he earned an M.F.A. in scenic design in 1981. He began his career designing for the stage before moving into film and television.

Vernacchio has worked as production designer on films including *Wishmaster* (1997), *Phantoms* (1998), *Hellraiser: Inferno* (2000) and *Autopsy* (2008). He has also served as art director on the television series *Babylon 5* (1993–1994) and *Big Time Rush* (2009–2011). He is married to scenic designer Deborah Raymond.
