Dot-Marie Jones (also credited as Dot Jones or Dorothy-Marie Jones) is an American actress and retired athlete. Born in Turlock, California, she attended California State University, Fresno, where she set records in shot put, and became a 15-time world arm wrestling champion.

She began acting after being discovered at a bodybuilding competition and has appeared in numerous television series and films. Jones is best known for playing Coach Shannon Beiste (later Sheldon Beiste) on the musical series *Glee* (2010–2015), first as a recurring guest star and later as a main cast member. She received Primetime Emmy Award nominations for Outstanding Guest Actress in a Comedy Series in 2011, 2012 and 2013 for the role. Other credits include *Lizzie McGuire* (as Coach Kelly), *The Boondock Saints* (1999), *Patch Adams* (1998) and appearances in *American Horror Story*, *The Mentalist* and *Modern Family*.
