Doug Claybourne is an American film producer and unit production manager. Born in Houston, Texas, he studied at the University of Tulsa and worked in advertising and art direction before entering the film industry. He began his career in production on Francis Ford Coppola's *Apocalypse Now* (1979), serving as a production assistant, assistant director and post-production coordinator, and maintained a long association with Coppola and Zoetrope Studios on subsequent projects.

Claybourne's producing credits include *The Escape Artist* (1982), *Rumble Fish* (1983), *The Black Stallion Returns* (1983), *The Serpent and the Rainbow* (1988), *Ernest Saves Christmas* (1988), *The Mask of Zorro* (1998) and *Delirious* (1991). He has served as executive producer on films such as *The War of the Roses* (1989), *D2: The Mighty Ducks* (1994), *Jack* (1996) and *The Fast and the Furious* (2001), and as co-producer on *Money Train* (1995) and *Drop Zone* (1994). He is also known for his work as unit production manager on several of these titles. Claybourne received CableACE and Emmy awards for his work on the documentary *Hearts of Darkness: A Filmmaker's Apocalypse* (1991).
