## Biography

Douglas Henderson was an American film and television actor. Born on 14 January 1919 in Montclair, New Jersey, he served in the United States Marine Corps during the Second World War and began his career in stock theatre before making his film debut in 1952 in *Eight Iron Men*.

He appeared in numerous films, including *The Manchurian Candidate* (1962) as Col. Milt, *Stay Away, Joe* (1968) as Congressman Morrissey, and *The Americanization of Emily* (1964). On television he made six guest appearances on *Perry Mason* and played Col. James Richmond in *The Wild Wild West* (1966–1969). His career spanned from the mid-1940s to the mid-1970s.

Henderson died on 5 April 1978 in Studio City, California.
