## Biography

Dragoljub Ivkov (1931–2007) was a Serbian production designer and art director. He graduated from the Faculty of Architecture in Belgrade and began working professionally in film from 1960, initially as a film architect before becoming a scenographer on more than thirty domestic and co-production features.

Ivkov contributed production design or art direction to films including *The Rats Woke Up* (1967), *WR: Mysteries of the Organism* (1971) — on which he also appeared as an actor — and *Beach Guard in Winter* (1976). He received Golden Arena awards for best production design at the Pula Film Festival for the first and third of these. Earlier, he made around twenty amateur short films through Kino klub Beograd from 1951 and later directed two feature films.
