## Biography

Drewe Henley (born Gordon Henley; 1940–2016) was an English actor. He appeared in supporting roles in British films and television from the 1960s onwards, including as Khaku in *When Dinosaurs Ruled the Earth* (1970).

He is best known for portraying Red Leader Garven Dreis in *Star Wars* (1977), for which he was credited as Drewe Hemley. He also appeared in *Frenzy* (1972) and episodes of *Space: 1999* (1975). Henley retired from acting after being diagnosed with bipolar disorder. He was married to actress Felicity Kendal.
