## Biography

Duppy Demetrius is an American television writer and producer. Born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, he began his career as a production assistant on television films and series including *FreakyLinks*.

He joined the production of *24* (2001) as a producer's assistant and wrote episodes across several seasons, also serving as a story editor. Demetrius has written for *The Closer* (2005), *Major Crimes* (2012), *Hawaii Five-0* (2010) and *SEAL Team* (2017), and has held producing roles on several of these series.
