## Biography

Earl Holliman was an American actor. He appeared in the film *Giant* (1956) as Bob Dace. He won the Golden Globe Award for Best Supporting Actor – Motion Picture for his role in *The Rainmaker* (1956).

Holliman played Sergeant Bill Crowley in the television series *Police Woman* (1974–1978). His other film credits include *Forbidden Planet* (1956), *Gunfight at the O.K. Corral* (1957) and *The Sons of Katie Elder* (1965). He also appeared in episodes of *The Twilight Zone* (1959) and *Bonanza* (1959). He was an animal rights activist and received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in 1977.
