## Biography

Eberhard Taubert was a German writer and propagandist. He wrote the screenplay for the Nazi propaganda film *Triumph of the Will* (1935), directed by Leni Riefenstahl. He is also credited with the idea for *The Eternal Jew* (1940), directed by Fritz Hippler.

Taubert was born on 11 May 1907 in Kassel and died on 2 November 1976 in Cologne. From 1933 he worked as an official in the Reich Ministry of Public Enlightenment and Propaganda under Joseph Goebbels, rising to a senior position and contributing to anti-communist and anti-Semitic propaganda efforts.
