Ed Grennan (1922–2000) was an American actor and broadcaster. He appeared as Pete in David Lynch’s *The Straight Story* (1999) and as Mayor Daley in the television film *A Mother’s Courage: The Mary Thomas Story* (1989).

Grennan had a long career in Chicago radio and television. He hosted shows including the Emmy-winning *It’s Academic*, the call-in programme *Problems and Solutions*, and *Everything’s Relative*. He worked at stations such as WLS, WGN and WMAQ before retiring in 1991. He began acting more regularly after retirement.
