Ed Marx is an American film editor. He grew up in south Chicago and studied at the University of Illinois at Chicago from 1966 to 1974. He worked for many years as an editor of commercials in Chicago before moving to Los Angeles in 1993.

Marx is credited as editor on *It's All True* (1993). He has worked on numerous horror and independent films, including *Jeepers Creepers* (2001), *Jeepers Creepers 2* (2003), *Wrong Turn 2: Dead End* (2007), *Hatchet II* (2010), *Hatchet III* (2013), *Zombeavers* (2014), *The Vault* (2017) and *Frozen* (2010). He has also edited *Peaceful Warrior* (2006) and *Safelight* (2015).
