Eddie Welch was an American screenwriter and gag writer active in Hollywood during the 1930s. He contributed uncredited comedy gag writing to the Laurel and Hardy feature *Sons of the Desert* (1933).

His other credits include additional dialogue on *Las Vegas Nights* (1931) and *Ladies of the Jury* (1932), screenplay work on *The Gracie Allen Murder Case* (1939), *Prison Farm* (1938) and *Her Jungle Love* (1938), and contributions to *Cocoanut Grove* (1938) and *Wells Fargo* (1937).
