Edith Massey was an American actress and singer. She appeared in five films directed by John Waters and was one of his regular ensemble, known as the Dreamlanders.

Massey made her screen debut in *Multiple Maniacs* (1970) and went on to play Edie in *Pink Flamingos* (1972), Aunt Ida in *Female Trouble* (1974), Queen Carlotta in *Desperate Living* (1977) and Cuddles Kovinsky in *Polyester* (1981). In the late 1970s and early 1980s she toured as the lead singer of the punk band Edie and the Eggs.
