## Biography

Edithe Swensen is an American writer and producer. She holds a bachelor's degree in English from Wheaton College in Illinois and a master's degree from Penn State University. She began her television writing career in the mid-1980s.

Swensen wrote the teleplay for the *Star Trek: The Next Generation* episode "Imaginary Friend" (1992), in collaboration with Brannon Braga. She contributed a story to *Xena: Warrior Princess* (2000) and worked as a writer and story editor on *Charmed* (1998–1999). On *Odyssey 5* (2002–2003) she served as writer, executive story editor and co-producer. Her other credits include episodes of *Tales from the Darkside*, *Monsters* and *Witchblade*, as well as numerous television films such as *Brazen* (2022).
